Dissociated diet: How it works

Proper nutrition has a positive effect on individual well-being and the community. Since the food is always regarded as the first medicine for the body and is known to its balanced introduction into the body helps to ward off many diseases that are due to deficiencies or abuse food.

Much of today’s society is based on consumerism and the easy availability of resources and a large chunk of the population when eating implements bad habits that lead people to eat in excess.

1.) It becomes important, then, to follow a diet or a lifestyle attentive to the signs of our body and how it works. Among the best-known methods for nutrition, there is dissociated diet, born in the United States in the early twentieth century in academic circles. This diet is based on the concept that the foods consumed are digested differently and that a wrong combination of foods slows down considerably the work of the gastric mucosa, as well as not to dispose of the products of metabolism that can lead to increases in body weight.

2.) The proposal of the dissociated diet is to overcome the drawbacks of consuming a single dish at every meal. According to the theory of dissociated foods are divided into three categories: carbohydrates, proteins and neutral foods (vegetables, fruits, olive oil and spices); carbohydrate and protein should never be consumed together. The neutral foods may be coupled to one or other category and eaten widely. So no to pasta with meat, bread along with cheese and yes meals every four hours during which and in the minutes before you should not ingest fluids do not dilute the juices of the stomach. Of course, carbohydrate and protein should be alternated in the main meals, assuming that it would be good to eat protein only once a day, and that should not be consumed raw vegetables in the evening. The fruit is permitted only on an empty stomach to prevent intestinal fermentation and bread made with whole-wheat flour.

3.) The dissociated diet is recommended for normal diets but is also required as a low-calorie weight-loss diet. There are many dietary and endocrinologists who continue to assign it. The frequency of small meals may stimulate the reactivation of metabolism. The simplicity of the single dishes reduces excess seasoning and promotes the loss of body fat and excess pounds. But not everyone agrees on its effectiveness to lose weight. Just how often you should take food’s fear is a body totally unnecessary fatigue. Similarly, some experts believe that a psychological level, weight-loss diets, deprivation may trigger a need for compensation and then the subsequent appeal to overeating …

Never forget : A healthy diet involves the intake of all major nutrients, with balance and amounts relate energy expenditure. Low-calorie diets should be followed by consulting your doctor.
